Michael has been an apartment/investment broker, specializing in representing principals, agents and attorneys in the purchase and sale of multifamily properties in Silicon Valley and on the SF Peninsula since 2002. Specializing in the sales, purchase and exchange of apartment properties in the 4–50 unit range, and especially distressed assets and portfolios with maintenance, management, operational, tenant and legal issues.
Michael also assists owners with 1031 exchanges into larger properties, triple-net leased investments, or reinvestment into non-management intensive investments through affiliations with reputable financial partners. He also is an apartment building owner and investor, with a focus on refurbishing properties and development projects. He also provides operational consulting to owners interested in increasing value, revenue, and decreasing operational problems. Michael has worked extensively with real estate and estate planning attorneys in the resolution and disposition of problem or distressed multifamily assets.
Working in concert with Michael Shields, Rebecca is intricately involved in the day-to-day activities of selling assets for our clientele. This involves working with owners, tenants, and contractors in preparing properties for sale. Rebecca has extensive experience in property management and dealing with challenging tenant issues. Once in contract, Rebecca ensures that all terms of the agreement are met, schedules are adhered to, problems resolved and escrow closed in a timely manner.
As a licensed real estate agent, she assists in the marketing of multifamily properties and sells residential properties (single-family homes) that often are included in client portfolios. With more than 25 years of experience in a variety of real estate roles, Rebecca is aptly suited to ensure that every transaction is completed on time and as specified. Rebecca is a Certified California Residential Manager, a licensed real estate agent, and has studied Communications at UCLA. Hablamos Espanol!
